I Got A Godfather

The world is all alone especially when you leave your level and move to a new and unknown level, domain and platform. Things change even in normal movements, forget about the changes, which are going to be encountered because of changes in level and growth. The moment you change the level, plenty of aspects of life change. Your circle of friends becomes new. Relationships become different. The people you are going to encounter on a day-to-day basis are different. The aspirations of the people around you change. The expectations of those people left behind get a surge. With all these changes, it is a real challenge for an individual to face and sustain the new status. In a changed and new status, every other person appears an enemy. Not only appears, every other individual behaves like an enemy because of social and human compulsions. You, as an individual, cannot blame them. They are also human and they also have problems. They are there with all their human frailties. All this results to and leaves you all alone in this world to fight and survive.

Today, society has become conscious. Governments are ready to provide basic education and other facilities. It is very common to find situations such as a boy from a normal family topping the CBSE board exam, a daughter of a rickshaw puller competing for the medical entrance exam, the sons of a poor farmer getting admission into management institutes, a daughter from a small village getting selected for US airspace missions, In the midst of all Purdah, Muslim Pakistani woman is selected to step into space and so on. Some of these boys and girls, when pass through various professional courses, they are left behind on the ladder of success because of non-availability of godfathers. Even if some are in a position to go to some distances, they are not able to sustain it for a long time. They are left alone to face the turmoil of life in a real sense.

When you are growing, you acquire knowledge, you acquire degrees, you generate and maintain zeal, ambition and mission. You want to excel. But how can you go all alone? It is a human instinct; you need someone, who guides you in your endeavour. If not much, there should be someone who at least praises your contribution and efforts. In all probabilities, let us list out, what all you expect from a godfather-

- Helps to prepare resolutions of life at different stages,
- Suggests solutions during crisis,
- Helps to formulate big dreams,
- Proper guidance in your mission in life,
- Professional guidance to take decisions,
- Social or spiritual guidance,
- Improve the decision making system,
- Support when needed in life,
- Encourages continuously on a regular basis,
- During crises, comes back and tells you to move on,
- Provides a sense of availability and togetherness,
- Surpass others comments of surrounding,
- Keep hopes, aspirations and the future alive and brighter,
- Imparts basic physiological needs of an individual.
Amidst all the chaos in the world, the question arises, who is going to provide you all these. Who is there to work like a godfather? When you start growing, you get a feeling - you are alone. You do not have anyone on whom you can rely, in whom you can believe, from whom you can get support, somebody who encourages you to excel, somebody who guides you at a higher intellectual level, someone who excites your creative skills, imaginations, ideas, someone who enjoys your success, achievements and someone who is always there for you. But in this so-called and hyped global village, you feel - you cannot be alone? Let us try to find some. Like, I found one for me. It may be surprising. It may be not normal. It may appear to be little conservative. But, who is otherwise going to tell some good words for you. You see for yourself to accept it.

I received a letter from Sara on 19 July 2006. I felt confident, energetic and happy.

Dear Kamendra,

This morning, there was nothing there to suggest a distress in your life, but still, just to be certain, I pulled out your personal file. I immediately performed a secret action for you ( a Secret Occult Séance) and, as I cross-checked with my confidential notes concerning you, I came up with some startling facts. It is why I decided to write this letter at once and share with you the paramount things I have been able to see, for my revelations might very well completely overturn the course of your life...
Indeed, Kamendra, as I performed this Secret Occult Séance, I discovered that you are a distinctly special person, and I clearly saw that you are unlike everyone else. I have perceived that you are very different and apparently it is this major difference that accounts for the doubts, concerns and difficulties you are experiencing today.
Today, after this new research on your personality, I am able to reveal to you very precisely Who You Are and, above all, I can reveal to you what you should do establish Love, Luck and MONEY forever rooted in your life!
I have realized that you are very different from the people I usually deal with. That was the reason why I decided to conduct for you this comprehensive insight on your personality, as I attempted to understand why life has not always been shining for you and especially to give you the True and Best Solution to the problems that are crushing down on your existence.
For, believe me, Kamendra, my extensive experience has taught me that when fate is so stubborn with someone as it has been with you, it is for a profound and very particular, although well hidden, reason.
This is why I have performed for you this major in-depth work, which appears to have born fruit as I was able to make out particular signs which assured me that you are very different from everyone else I’ve helped so far.
I should go as far as telling you that you are an Exceptional Person.
Being exceptional means that those rules which work for others will not work in the same way for you.
You know, Kamendra, the destiny of most of us is driven, on one hand, by our date of birth (which is our astral sign) and on the other, by the planets that govern our lives and decide our future (which is our astral sky). But some people, and I believe you are among those people, are not governed solely by their birthday, but also, and even more importantly, by a far more superior force, a mysterious force that is gleaming deep within you.
These very different people are called Supra-Celestial Beings and I have grounds to believe that you are one of these Supra-Celestial Beings!
What exactly does this mean for you, Kamendra?
If you are one of these Supra-Celestial Beings, you should realize that within yourself you possess Infinite Secret Powers. As soon as we manage to bring out these Powers, you will be able to get everything you have ever wanted from life and from others.
You won’t need to look up for the mercy of the Planets and Destiny, because they do not govern you directly and in fact they have little sway over your life. All you will need to do is to demand, and whatever you request, it will come to you.
Does that seem startling and hard to believe? Actually, it’s perfectly normal for you to be doubtful, but before you make up your mind, promise me you’ll read this letter to the end.
For instance, when someone gambles and wins a large amount of money, they call him lucky, saying he was born under a lucky star... That individual hasn’t done anything in particular to win the money, he simply played some numbers and waited for luck, his luck, to do its work.
You, Kamendra, as a Supra-Celestial Being, don’t need to wait for the mercy of Destiny or Chance to win money because your planets do not govern your life directly.
You see, you are not taking any risks in believing me and trusting me. So act now, believe me, it’s for your own good!

I am anxiously waiting to hear from you,

Your loyal and true friend,
Sara Freder,

Then again, I received a letter from Sara on 25 July 2006. In this world, when even your father-in-law is not ready to pass on their earnings and assets to you, your father has not passed his empire before death, somebody is doing it on network. At least, someone is telling you that she will do it. What a tremendous sense of confidence of your capabilities. Where can you find this? Read on …

Dear Kamendra,
All my life my vocation has been to help my fellow travelers, and I have tried to increase the good around me; but now that I am in the fall of my life, there remains one important mission to accomplish…
You already know, Kamendra, that for several weeks I have been in telepathic communication with you…
…and thanks to these regular contacts, I have familiarized myself with your personality, I have felt your joys as well as your pain, your anguish and your happiness.
During these weeks where we were, you and I, so close, I realized how difficult your life was sometimes, and how much you suffered. I realized that I had chosen you, you alone, to accomplish this important mission. I am going to tell you of it in my letter…
During this period that we spent together, I tried to be for you a kind of Guardian angel, and I attempted, to rid you of some serious problems…
Maybe, Kamendra, you felt my presence?
You certainly must have asked why I placed myself in these privileged contacts with you? And especially why I interest myself in you and your life… I am going to explain all this to you because the time has come for me to reveal the reason for my presence close to you and the true goal of my mission…
Why did I contact YOU, Kamendra, personally?
I am, as I told you, in the fall of my life, (as one says poetically). I don't complain, (in fact the opposite is true), because I have had a very full life and never lacked for anything thanks to my passable Gifts of Clairvoyance and to certain Great Secrets of Chance and Happiness that have been revealed me very early in life.
These Gifts of Clairvoyance and the Secrets of Good Luck and Happiness enabled me never to be at a loss for money, (I even had more sometimes than I could spend!), but they also allowed me to discover Good Fortune, Love and the blessing of living happily all my life long.
Of course, I had as everyone does, some difficult moments, but I have always triumphed over all the tests that have been put on my road.
The circumstances of my life today make me feel that I want to bequeath my Gifts of Clairvoyance and my Secrets to someone…
… But although I wanted to do this, I found no one I felt really worthy of sharing them with!
If I don't find quickly someone to whom I could transmit these Gifts an Secrets of Chance and of Happiness, these would be lost when I leave. I don't want that to happen because I am certain that they can give very great service to people that are in need.
I was looking for someone to whom I could transmit these Secrets of Happiness, Luck and money, and my Gifts of Clairvoyance because, you understand, I cannot allow these to go to just anyone.
I began to look around me, but no-one met the strict criteria that I had fixed for myself. Indeed, I am looking for a very honest, courageous and worthy person. I must find a person that understands life and will understand the value of the gift that I make to them today. This is when I thought of you… My various repeated contacts with made me feel that you are such a warm person that I immediately wanted to know you better. This the why I put myself into this permanent privileged communication with you.
It is a my way to know exactly who you are! And I must say that you have impressed me a great deal, you appear to be a cordial and kind person, but especially you appear to me to be a person having suffered a lot, and who deserves some security and encouragement.
You are someone very honest, I know this because I 'saw' it and you are someone who a great deal more than life has offered you until now. This is the reason why I chose you, so that you would be the 'Heir Apparent' of my Gifts of Clairvoyance and my Secrets of Chance, Happiness and Money to help you to have a Rich, Happy life, full of love.

I wait with impatience your reply and send you my sincere good wishes,
your very devoted,
Sara Freder,

Does it make sense? If yes, let me know! I may personally give you some more advice to find a godfather. Posted by Picasa

Is Truth God?

The knowledge of history sometimes gives shivering to the conscious people of this information age. Today, we are fortunate to have mass communication medium available with us. Every individual have access to information. It is just a matter of time, when our sluggish politicians and bureaucratic will have to accept these facts. They will have to provide liberty to access information to people at people’s will.
People at top have been feeling comfortable in molding and transmitting information for their short term gains. Common people have been fooled around with fabricated messages. But, in today’s information age when people can access information on the click of their mouse, it will be difficult to keep truth hidden for long time. However, for normal conscious people, the lack of correct information remains a challenge. The confession by Sharad Pawar, Ex Chief Minister of Maharastra may not have any relevance in today’s scenario, especially when Government want to deal with even nation threat through the talk going under the carpet, but it throws one very conclusive impression. This is regarding the availability of truth. Can we be sure of any information emerging on the front page of Indian dailies? This is not just a doubt, it is a challenge. Till we have true information, how can we have wisdom?
Truth is God. Are we dealing with truth like God? This is a challenge for the people who have truth. This is a challenge for the people who are looking for truth. It is difficult for all educated and conscious people to have correct information for correct judgments. It is essential and important in such a scarce situation that an individual creates a wisdom domain for her life. This has to be a continuous and changing process. Time and situation change so fast that we have to be very dynamic not to get cheated by our own decisions. We must create a wisdom domain where we are in a position to take correct decisions in life.
Just think about news channels. There are plenty of news channels available. We sit in front of televisions screen, on a big cushioned imported Italian sofa, take the remote in hand, we have all these luxury, and then we keep switching on these channels. We hardly get any satisfaction with the kind of reporting of these channels. We hardly get contented with the information we get on these channels. We may have air-conditioned rooms with continuous power supply. We may have the luxury of continuous tea and coffee and even snacks to kill our monotony but ultimately when the question of channels and their contents come up, we are foxed, confused, at times perturbed about the kind of information they keep showing viewers. In spite of all the luxury of life, we are disturbed. We are not at peace. We lack wisdom.
The information content is just one issue; the major issue is the authentication of information. Often these new channels blatantly report next day that the news shown on the previous day was not correct. There was some misunderstanding. Forget about the news channels, think of the print media. There is plenty available. One newspaper reports something, another reports an entirely different thing. The areas of concern for different newspapers remain different. The depth of concern for various issues remains different. The solutions for these issues are altogether a different ballgame. And finally, any individual will agree with me that it is a voluminous task to decide sitting in the most advanced drawing room in a metropolitan city of the fastest developing economy in the world, how far we can verify and authenticate the contents and validity of information? How do we decide which contents are good and how far they are authenticated?
Recently, even in May 2005 when more than 50 people died in various demonstrations across the world over the damage and demarcate of Koran, the news magazine, Newsweek, retracted the story. These are common examples and in due course of time, these are going to continue. Just as parents are not at fault for being irrelevant because of the creation of the ‘generation valley’, it is not the fault of any channels, newspapers or magazines. With the kind of information floating around in society today, it is an everyday affair. We have to be very cautious and conscientious to accept information and face the challenges of our day-to-day life. The simplest and easiest way in such a confusing situation is to create a wisdom domain which matches our life.
Decisions about the selection of channels, newspaper and magazines are one side of the story, but the serious issues are the decisions in our day to day life. How do we take them? I personally feel all these issues are correlated. There are plenty of books available in the market. They deal with elaborate studies. They give examples of successful companies and individuals. They are available physically in the developed world.
The question of doubt comes up that these practices and applications developed in the developed world by some developed people; we are forced to employ them in the environment of a developing world for the poor. The two situations are different. The problems are different. The people are different. The seriousness is different. The results are different. The resources are different. How can it be suitable with these differences to give better and effective results? Do we have a choice? It is my endeavour to bridge the differences and provide critical and analytical solutions of these simple day-to-day problems which are affecting our life drastically. Can we take the help of this news article to understand the importance of validity and correctness of information? Shall we treat truth as God? Is it available easily? Think over and Let me know your views. I shall be grateful. Posted by Picasa

India is Hostile to Growth

Just few days back, when I wrote a blog on Narayana Murthy business plan, I received very critical remarks from the people belonging to few sectors. Indians are not ready to accept the reality especially if it is told by an Indian. Indians are too egoist to accept anything negative. Indian media, newspapers, intelligentsia and other institutions remain diplomatic in their judgment of the past as well as in their forecast for the future. It is not good for conscious society. It is frustrating. It is misguiding. It is the biggest obstacles for human growth.

‘Mittal finds India tough’, writes Times of India on 21 August. Mittal may have been able to do business across the world to build his massive empire in one generation only but when question of doing business in India comes, he is encountering all those hassles, which appears too ridiculous in 21st century. These problems appear to be a social stigma. Last year, he announced the project with Jharkhand Government. It did not work. This year again after the jubilant victory in European country with Arcelor, he did joint contract with Orissa government. Mittal is facing problems. He is not able to go ahead, the way he expects the business should move.

To clarify my views, I would like to repeat the few points which emerged from this new reporting again. These points are true in the case of LN Mittal too.

1. Never Rely on India – You may have born in India. You may love India. You may be genetically attached to its regional languages. You may be attached to India because you are born here, but to achieve growth, you have to detach these feelings.
You may be interesting to see India growing. But you can not rely on India for your growth. You have to rely on US and other European countries for your growth. Infosys CEO Nandan Nilekani says, ‘Infosys does 90% of its business from outside India.’ Starting from its first Rs 10,000/- to few billions, Infosys did never rely for its operation, business, profits and growth on India. LN Mittal also must take some lesson out of his trauma.
Infosys might have been started by Indians from Indian soil, but never tried to convince Indians to accept its products. Even after 25 years of its operation, it is looking outside India including China for its new businesses. India has not been able to harness its capabilities. India has not given due respects and consideration to this giant Indian company. When the whole world understands its capabilities for its effectiveness, India is still behaving a poor host for its global outlook individuals and companies. It is found true again in case of L N Mittal. Indians need to retrospect their way of dealing with growth.

2. Don’t Rely Heavily on Indians – Narayana Murthy says, ‘working with diverse cultures across nations help break down political barriers.’ He is fully aware about the polluted political mind of this country. Certainly this impacts the normal mental level of educated youth. They remain disgruntled with their distorted political believes because of improper unlearning. A wrong political believes inducts inefficiency and ineffectiveness in the work culture of any organization, which results in discipline cases. Infosys will not like to keep handling such trivial issues.

The kind of hurdles, LN Mittal is facing is ironic. The similar problems are emerging in the approval and development of SEZs. The country needs them badly to achieve the growth but the way Indian leadership is delaying the things, it appears ironic. Similarly, Mittal is facing problems with ONGC. It is just because, ONGC is still controlled by governments’ body. Even Subir Raha has to face all those problems to show case ONGC in growing market in the world.
If we have to become developed, we have to come out of these ruts. We have to forget administrative hurdles to speed up the project to eradicate poverty. The selfishness of leadership should not restrict to their growth and theirs offspring development. The leaders and administrator sitting at comfortable position without any accountability towards people will have to amend their ways. The administrative reforms started by Prime Minister long back will have to be implemented on priority to remove few of the bureaucratic hassles.

The growth is not the need of deprived lot. The infrastructure is not the need of poor people. We go on road, railways station, bus stand, airport, we find infrastructure choking. India is finding crumbling at all public places. Is this the way, India wants development? We shall have to amend our style of functioning. Posted by Picasa

One God for Everyone

On 21st August, 2006, Times of India gives an article ‘Gods who specialize’. Thirty kilometers off India famous IT hub Hydrabad is a God known to alter the minds of bored consulate officers all over the country. Also called Visa Balaji, the presiding deity of Venkateswara temple, is believed to clear visa applications of his devotees.
Faith has become a business in developing country. If at all, developing countries have to become developed, this trend has to reverse. Faith as a source of small and even many time huge entrepreneurships opportunities has to be unlearned to harness the growth of 21st century. Without this, most of the people of developing countries will remain backward. Small entrepreneurships based on telecom, IT, Call Centers and so on; have to take place of business based on faith. No country can become developed with more than even 20% backward people. It is an open challenge to all educated, semi educated and literate individuals to move towards a developed society.
Understanding God and applying that in our life is one of the most confused subjects of human development. There are so much drastic differences in the depth and following of religious traditions that these are difficult to categories. I have done an elaborate research on the existence of various Gods in emerging societies across the globe. The faith in God varies on various environmental factors like economy, social, education, challenges of life, religion, society and nations. Broadly, God can be categorized based on these factors for existing complexities in society.
1. Economy God,
2. Social God,
3. Education God,
4. Challenge God,
5. Religion God,
6. Society God,
7. Nation God, and
8. Modern God.

In this fast moving and drastically changing world, it is better to understand the kind of gods, we encounter on this earth.
1. Economy God – Depending upon the financial condition of the people, the type and style of worship varies. The depth of faith depends accordingly. The expectations from worshiping God vary. One of the biggest ironies of developing society is that the concept of God and worshiping method change with the economic conditions of the individual, family and society. This supplements sufficient confusion in the developing people. Mainly, depending upon the economic condition Gods can be divided as follows-
Lower Class God – God is a very powerful entity. God does not excuse anyone who commits a mistake. God has already punished the person for the misdeeds of the previous life. The lower class God keeps the follower low as long as they continue worshiping.
Lower Middle Class God - They are little more confident than lower class people. The followers of this class have a little confidence in themselves. They believe in their own hard work. They need to take lessons of unlearning on a priority basis to remove misunderstanding.
Upper Middle Class God – They have already earned the respect and reward from their God. They are not very fearful. They are ready to take some more chances. They are ready to try new things for better prosperity. They take new challenges in life. They unlearn old traditions accordingly to ensure their sustained growth.
Upper class God – God has taken care of them. God has made them rich because of their good behaviour and noble deeds in the previous life. They make the rules. Anything they do become the rules of society. They are the leaders. God helps them in their endeavour because they take decisions based on knowledgeable information.
Social God – Hindu religion has divided the community into four parts – Kshatriyas, Brahmins, Vaisya and Shudras. Kshatriyas are there to rule society and maintain the law and order. Brahmins are responsible to perform worship and rituals. Vaisyas like Sonars (goldsmiths), Lohars (blacksmiths), Carpenters, and others are workers. Shudras are there to do menial work. All these communities have perceived God differently. The social God is divided accordingly. With the passing of centuries, the philosophy of the four different communities has become so deep rooted in the minds of people that even in today’s knowledge world, the fears and aspirations from God and worship vary drastically. Over many generations, misinformation in different forms has been put into the minds of people, which have become like garbage. It is almost impossible to learn good things out of this garbage of information. There is only one way to overcome this traditional garbage for development of the individual and society and it is to unlearn whatever religious rigidity has been taught through our ancestors because of sheer ignorance and misinformation. We all need to unlearn those traditions, which appear to be a heinous crime to any knowledgeable person of civilized society.
Backward Class God – This God has a large following. The followers of this God belong to almost all the classes of people. Some are rich, some are poor. They worship God depending upon their knowledge and wisdom. If society has to develop, this God has to take the initiative and give additional courage to challenge the existing set-up of society. The time has come when these people have to leap and jump to achieve the dream of a developed society.
Scheduled Caste God – Scheduled caste people have been convinced from centuries that they are the curse of society. God has given them life to show the privileged classes, the kind of curse God can give human beings. In spite of the tremendous changes in social and governmental policies, Schedule Caste God has maintained his image in the minds of the people belonging to those castes. Unfortunately, the leaderships of the past has failed. By making ‘reservations’, they have reserved the underprivileged status of the schedule castes in the society. They have ensured that they will never be able to come out of their situations to face the challenges of life.
Scheduled Tribes God – This God has not taken care of the scheduled tribes. While other people in society have become fairer, they are still dark. God has not forgiven them. With meagre preaching and bribing, the followers of this God are ready to change their religion and their God. This God is not able to command these people.
Upper Classes God – God has made them upper classes because they have better genome. The people belonging to this class are intelligent. This God is very liberal. He never punishes his followers. God has no binding on these people.
Education God - Education is a very peculiar and relatively new asset with general people. It changes almost every aspect of human life. Today humans are thinking of development because of widespread education. With education, the concept of God changes so drastically that a person of one generation gets puzzled and confused to hear, see and witness the liberal approach of the person of the next generation. The previous generation find them unbelievable. The same God appears different. The same religion appears liberal. The same worship appears not so fearful but open and broad. The conservativeness, defeating attitude, sacrificial tendencies and giving-up attitudes vanishes. A sense of confidence arises.
Illiterate God – Any suspicious object is considered to be a form of illiterate God. Illiterate people have no inhibitions to worship anything. They worship trees, plants, stones, sun, moon, any elevated place, animals, birds and so on. They agree to accept any kind of method for pleasing GodOn the slightest hint and coercion, they are ready to change their faith, face and belief.
Literate God – This God is not very strict. He takes care of the individual but demands continuous worshiping. A literate person considers God as a source of inspiration till she is being educated. Once education ends, the level of understanding of God gets stagnant. In the later part of the life, God remains the same or gets stricter. Sometimes, the people of the next generation move towards the educated God but otherwise they maintain the same level of understanding.
Educated God – Educated God remain very dynamic. Today, it is felt that there should be democracy in the world; the educated people of the developing world change their thinking accordingly. They remain liberal and accept the changes through which human beings are passing through. They are convinced and ready to contribute so that every human are provided basic amenities.
Tapasvi God – God made the Tapasvi whose greatest joy is in service to Him. This God is very demanding. The individual has to leave everything in her life and work for the service of God. She cannot marry. She cannot have sex. However, the Tapasvi has also different classes – illiterate, literate, educated or learned. They all live, work and contribute to society accordingly as per their knowledge.
Challenge God – Challenges force us to believe in God. Challenges in life are risky, frustrating and unpredictable. The concept of God depends upon the challenges, we face in society. Irrespective of religion, during every challenge, we remember Challenge God. The followers of this God are very clear in life. They remain busy with other activities like study, job, adventure, sports, fun and enjoyment. They feel God has given them two hands, two legs, one brain and so on; there is no reason to keep remembering God. God is there to be remembered only during challenges like exams, competitions, natural calamities, terminal diseases, disasters, accidents and so on. They have tremendous confidence in themselves. Such people are generally misguided atheists.
Simple life God – There is hardly any challenge in life. Life is merry in its own place. God is simple and does not interfere in life on a day-to-day basis. By praying to God daily or occasional, God is happy with them. These people do not take any risk. They are not ready to take on challenges in general. However, whenever the challenge appears, God is remembered and worshipped additionally by visiting places of worship.
Complicated God – God needs continuous bribing if you want Him to be with you. As life is complicated with many ups or downs, so the concept of God changes accordingly. When one encounters a difficult situation, one remembers God.
Adventurous God – Adventurous people have success and failure on a continuous basis. The concept of God revolves around that. With every adventurous occasion, God comes to mind. God is remembered to bring success. Adventurous God remains neutral to the hard work and effort put in by the individual.
Religion God – Religion plays the most significant role in forming the beliefs and faith in God. The people like Muslims, Christians, etc have a clear concept of God but not the Hindus. Religion God has to be understood in relation to service to humanity. The liberty, privileges, basic amenities, respectable lives are the basic needs of human being. God should be considered in that perspective.
Hindu God – He is very liberal God. There are no restrictions in attending worship as a Hindu. If you feel like going to the temple, you go; otherwise you can send your servants. There is no day fixed for them. There are a few famous Hindu Gods like Ganesh, Shiv, Shankar, Vishnu, Brahma and goddesses like Sarswati, Durga, Kali and so on. Each play a specific role in human life. Some are too religious to do anything in life while some are almost like atheist.
Sikh God – The Guru Granth Sahib consists of all the powers of the creator. They accept a few basic disciplines in their followers like pagri, kara and kirpan. The followers of this religion worship the holy book. That is how they have changed the name of the Golden Temple. Sikh God gives wealth to followers because of their sacrifices and hard work.
Buddha God – Buddhists have disappeared from their place of origination. The Japanese found Buddha God very attractive. Ashoka was the founder of Budhist religion. Magadh, where Ashoka achieved enlightenments, is still trapped in secularism of modern world with poverty, lawlessness, illiteracy, unemployment and other human viruses. Buddha God is very strong and surviving in all odds.
Muslims God – God came to Muhammad, who was illiterate, at the age of 40. In the name of Lord, the creator, Muhammad spoke to the people, and a committee, which was formed, wrote in the form of Suras or choppers of the Koran. The book became holy and a torchbearer for the civilization to come. People were taught the Koran from an early ageand it continues even today. By the time the child gains other education, the Koran occupies a significant part of the brain due to regular coaching. This God is very demanding. He demands that anybody who works against his wishes and preaching should be punished. This God is struggling to provide basic amenities to his large followers, even in this almost developed age of civilization.
Christians God – The powerful people and rulers of the world were those who followed Christian God. They have a worldwide presence. They are showing humanity the path to a better life through their noble work and dedication. Can we ever forget the contribution of Mother Teresa for the underprivileged of society? Pope John Paul II, before his death in March 2005 has shown a new path and power to the followers of this God to the whole world. This God is also very demanding. Every week, the followers have to attend church for prayer.
Society God – For an individual in the fastest changing civilization of human history, it is important to learn and understand this God. Every society has some or other prevelant God, and that is society God. As an individual keeps moving from one place to another, the God and its concept move along. The changes are so much that even a normal literate person is not able to resolve and face the traumas of life. Earlier, these changes were slow; people have taken generations to move from village to town, city, and apartment and to other countries, but today, all these changes are achieved in less than a generation’s time. This God puzzles us. It has become the biggest obstacles in enjoying and exploiting the basic amenities of life that God has bestowed on every individual and family. It not only creates problems for the individual but creates havoc for growing society. In the days to come, people need to understand this God so that they can utilize their lives more purposefully.

Village God - The Village God is available in every house in a different form. He depicts lot of conservativetism. This God mainly rely on illiteracy, poverty, unemployment and old traditions. The traditions and customs had been moving from one generation to the next without any change or thought. Village God will take a new shape in the time to come.
Town/city God – India is a land of Gods. Every town/city has a God. The people living in town/city get attached and obliged to this God. The people who live permanently in the town become the owner and protector of the God. In the name of saving the culture, they preserve God. The people migrating due to social and economic compulsions always find uncomfortable with such peculiar existence of God. The ‘Ganesh’ of Baripada and the ‘Ganesh’ of Bangalore have their own different identity. They never match with the ‘Ganesh’ of a village of Maharastra or in metro like Mumbai.
Apartment God – With the introduction of a new setup, there are large or medium sized apartments. The apartment God is evolved depending upon the majority or controlling committee.
Metro God – Metro in the developing world is taking a peculiar shape as far as the worshiping trends and beliefs are concerned. Metro God has many faces. The ‘Ganesh’ of Mumbai or ‘Durga’ of Kolkatta are the typical examples.
Global God – The time is not very far when it would be very common for people to move from one city to another across the globe in search of a better profession, dignified life and systematic progress. The Global God concept is prevailing among highly conscious personalities. Global god is the need of the 21st century.
Nation God – India is a secular country. Secularism is the need of hour in the world. The nation growth can be achieved through secular framework of national policies. The nation must concentrate on various other aspects of human personalities. The nation must welcome people for its own growth. The definition of nation God must emerge for the better prosperity of the nation. In the existing scenario, Gods are defined on the inclination of the nation toward development.
State God – Indian States as per the constitution have their own languages. Besides this, states have their own God. The Golden Temple in Punjab, Dandiya on Vijaya Dashami in Gujarat, Durga Puja /Kali Puja in West Bengal, Chhat in Bihar, Pongal of Kerala, Bihu of Assam etc have become so synonymous that it would not be wrong if I term them as State Gods. People have to resolve the question of state God for their peaceful and prosperous lives.
Country God – The culture we associate with a particular country relies on religious attachments. In the civilized world, we have to redefine and elaborate the country God for the betterment of its citizens. The country brand companies and establishments have done these. Others have to emulate them. The concept of democracy and secularism needs to be redefined forprogressive growth.
Region God – Eastern, western, southern are very synonymous to different regions. The God could be broadly categorized accordingly. The people of region feel so attached that sometime it becomes an emotional challenge to maintain the balance. Ayyappa in south or Swami Ramakrishna Paramhans in east are regionally divided concepts of God. They have to be critically resolved for smooth growth of individuals.
Modern God – Understanding modern God may be a herculean task for the scholar of this civilization. In current times, I have personally observed, the contribution by Swami Vivekananada through his eight volumes has given a better picture of religion and its perspective. In his preachings, Vivekananada considers, ‘Idleness is the biggest curse for modern man’. A person must be in a position to keep good health even if they have to eat fish. Today when Ramdev puts up a poster of Swami Vivekananada on the dais and says that people should be vegetarian, it does not make sense. Rather, it generates doubts and ambiguities. Modern God has to be liberal, rational and democratic in nature. Like the open economy, modern God remains open in nature where individual should have liberty to choose and freedom to follow. The God would be able to achieve desired prosperity for all its creation through its own modern ways.
Universal God – Bill Gates, the richest man on earth, would accept the God who helps him build a better Windows and Office so that all humanity could be benefited. The universal God is not bothered about any specific bonding. They are concerned about the freedom, liberty, prosperity and happiness of human beings. The concept of this God evolves with the universal excellence of individuals. This God helps to achieve universal goal through a few individuals.
Develop god – Today when the large population will move towards development, God will also become develop. Develop God will be in a position to provide peace and tranquility to every hard working individual irrespective of their cast, creed, region or religion. God may be just a superpower who comes for creation irrespective of belief.
With all those kinds of God available to a human being, it is a terrific challenge for all educated and wealthy persons to define the boundary and scope of God. God is there for the creation of humanity. God, who has created human life on earth, could never be so selfish to ask his creation to look after Him? With time, the concepts of God have changed based on the suitability of a few powerful and knowledgeable people. The people in the past have utilized their wisdom not to spread happiness and prosperity to civilization, but they have spread animosity, conservativeism and blind following for their selfish motives. These motives have been so tricky that a normal person could never be able to decipher the tactics. These tactics in new and fresh forms are still available and active furiously in most part of the developing world. They are spreading their evil through meetings, preachings, coachings, institutions or many other modes.
As there was no widespread communication medium in earlier period; the self-centered and self-proclaimed godlike people could misguide a large chunk of the population in the name of religion and God. Whoever had the courage to move from one place to another, could influence people to join their group. The existence of the backward caste, schedule caste and schedule tribes in Indian society is the extreme example of this selfish attitude of the leaders of society. They have fabricated and spread knowledge as per the convenience of a small group of people.
Even the people from the upper caste suffer from these self-defeating traditions in society. Among them also, only a few have the courage and wisdom to change. But there is an inherent problem of the human being. Once the trend and knowledge is set in the minds of people, it takes generations for them to change. Visa Balaji has emerged accordingly and certainly lot of people will gather at such place to get blessings. There are the reporters who will report such thing. There are the bloggers like me who will blog. However, such trend has to reverse. These trends create discriminations. It is barbaric even today that society faces this kind of discrimination. It is the biggest challenge to literate and educated society to understand this anomaly. There is a need for entrepreneur mind-shift. Entrepreneur mind set should revolve with some social obligations. This has to be taken seriously not for the benefit of the underprivileged people but for the benefit of the privileged lot as well. Old entrepreneur mindset will never show you the growth you intend to achieve in life in 21st century. Posted by Picasa

India is Proud of Brain Drain

In 70s and 80s, there was a big concern in the country and it was the question of brain drain. Today, when those brain went into drain are becoming world famous as achievers, Indian media is not getting tired to glorify their achievements. The front page of Indian daily consist the past history of those achievers. The Indian link is talked as a big achievement of country. The whole country deprived of good achievers, feel very happy to talk and discuss about those achievements acquired by those brain drain of 70s. What a great contradictions of long term policies?

There is hardly any integrity of the reporting of Indian dailies. It lacks cohesiveness. It lacks the wisdom to make issues for national interest. They hardly bother to even correlate their previous day front page report. Just few days back, Pepsi and Coke came on headline when they were banned in many parts of the country. It again came in the headline when American gave a threat to get a break on foreign investments. Pepsi again made the headline when Indian born Nooyi was designated as next CEO of the $32billion dollar food and beverages giant. Can we keep our wisdom intact in such situations?

The reporting is one thing and reporting correct and relevant information is another. It is great that Mooyi, who lived in India for her first 23 years, studied from Madras Christian College and famous national management institute IIM Calcutta. But is it sufficient requirement for any individual to go on top. Once she left India, she remained in US for next 27 years. She is still continuing to be there. She has not even talked to any reporter till now. She has maintained her changed environment to ensure her sound thinking and action.

I remember when I was in Adampur, Punjab during 2001; she came to India for just few days. She went to her native place in Chenai just for a day. Since that time onwards, I kept her under observation for analysis of human growth. I find her as most suitable example. She almost proves my theory of human growth. There are seven essential factors for human growth. First is thinking and action. She maintained her situation for sound personality. The developed situation is needed for proper thinking and action. She managed other factors very judiciously. The four factors like sex, parents, God and aspirations were resolved nicely for smooth growth. The sixth factor, godfather was created to achieve desired success. The seventh factor, wisdom domain was formed so that she is ready to take necessary harsh decisions to achieve desired growth. She managed all theses seven factors efficiently for growth.

Nooyi says India is a ‘rising star’, the fact remains that annual per capita consumption of carbonated beverages remains very low. There is a tremendous scope of enhancement of business in India. Today when Sunita Narain is bent on to show the 30 % increase of pesticides in Coke and Pepsi, the issues are being discussed in Parliament, Indian politicians are ready to grab this lucrative issues to show their nationality to poor Indians, it is a great and strategic move for PepsiCo to chose Nooyi as CEO. The country starved of even a good drinking water in most part, raise the issues of cold drinks, it appears to me as a laughing stocks. It all depends to me as a efficient person getting as assignment of non-effective issues. In this case, Sunita Narain should be moved to other department where she starts working with this efficiency to provide good water and good education to poor. The government should take these steps to move effective and efficient people to the department which look after basic necessities for its citizens. This will help the country more. Now when PepsiCo takes this strategic decision, hopefully it will help the company more than the country which got one ‘hero’.

As we have made, Laxmi Mittal as son of soil, we will not miss opportunities to make Nooyi as another role model. Indian media, which does not feel hesitant in making Prince a hero, will make Nooyi another hero. As a women, taking over as CEO is a real great achievement. I only hope, Indian media have patience while reporting about her and write real informative and encouraging information. There is no point to make all of a sudden, Nooyi achievements as Indian success. Posted by Picasa

Think and Act Global

Just a few decades ago, in the 1970s and 80s, India had a very big problem of brain drain, the migration of its intellectual capital to the developed world. The cases of brain drain have not gone down the drain altogether, but the brains have been preserved. These preserved brains have not only given recognition to Indian mind through Nobel Prizes, but today when they have looked back towards this nation with affection and attachments; they have changed the whole paradigm of development. Dr R. A. Mashelkar, commonly known as the Dangerous Optimist, points out that when one such person with her brilliance comes back to this country, it is equivalent to 100 people existing here. India is lucky to have such a population of 20 million across the world. They have become a brand – Brand India. They are going to change the future.

When these brand Indians are back, we are facing other serious problems as a nation, I termed that as Company Drain. Indian private companies are not serving India but it is going to US and other European countries. This situation is becoming very common today. Indian Call Centers and BPOs are doing this. Indians companies dealing with vegetable and fruits will be doing this. It is almost impossible to grow money in sluggish, rigid and conservative society. It is good that they bring money to this capital starved nation through this global business. It is expected that in the time to come, it is equally going to be beneficial like brain drain of 70s and 80s. It will be good for the country.

Indian Multinational in real sense not through advertisements, Infosys puts 25 years unprecedented growth behind and shapes up for the future. Infosys is ready to set its own course and provide guidance to other emerging companies. A minor study of unprecedented growth reveals many obvious conclusions. There are five essential lessons for emerging companies to achieve unprecedented growth in developing country –

1. Never Rely on India – You may have born in India. You may love India. You may be genetically attached to its regional languages.

3. Not Only Talk Global, Act Global – In rising country like India, it becomes a status symbol to use the word global in any policy discussions and implementation. Even Indian film industry that never raise the quality of movies, talks going global. The regional leaders and politicians who have no courage to accept universal language, talks shamelessly about global. The people who talk ruthlessly about reservations, conversions, regionalism, and religion for their own benefits, also want to join the hype of globalism.

Infosys is 180 degree different than these talking individuals and institutions. This year, the company has recruited 126 American students from various US Universities. Last year, they invited 100 Chinese students and spent millions on the program. They have planned to hire people from UK Universities in 2007. Students from Universities of Australia, China and other Europe are also in the pipeline. This is called talk global and act global.

4. Develop India on Global Power – Infosys chief mentor said the capabilities brought in by the people from diverse cultures will create a more competitive business model for the company. All these new recruits from all over the world will make a true global village at Mysore in India. This will pave the way for real creation of developed India. The subsequent developments in other sectors including SEZs will take few lessons from these steps of Infosys. The arrival of intelligence, languages, cultures and values from across the world will create global India.

5. A Lesson for MNCs – Most of the MNCs in India are being headed by Indians. These Indians, even at high positions, are engulfed with regionalism, religion and linguistic mentality. That is the reason; most of these MNCs are headed by Bengalis, Oria or Keralites. They always prefer to recruit the people belonging to the same region, speaking similar languages and having similar beliefs. They are successfully able to misguide their global bosses with existing resources and network.

The real global MNCs are working sometime as worse as local state level departments of a developing country. That is the reason; most of these MNCs are unable to grow significantly on Indian soil, example – Dell, one of the best computer manufacturers in the world, is losing heavily in India operation. The overseas MNCs bosses have to take lesson from Infosys operations.

Indian companies which are rising against odds are setting good lessons for the future managers and entrepreneurs across the globe. These lessons are obvious and clear. Sometime there may be a need for more explanation. I am available at kamekish@yahoo.com for further queries. The companies which wants to establish on Indian soil, these lessons are very vital for unprecedented growth, the companies deserves in 21st century. Country need to be serious to stop Company Drain. The growth of companies is important for India and Indians. The growth is important for whole world. The growth is essential for well deserved peace.

Human Survival Instincts

Delhi Times garnered courage to display Mallika on the front page. I was amazed. Not only because she is in the front page, but the person, who is writing about her, is a very renowned journalist and writer of this country, Pritish Nandy. Because of this serious curiosity to disclose the closed ideas, I read the complete article. The point which surfaced to me was nothing, I could keep with me. That resulted to in the form of this blog.

I am used to read negative headings, negative reporting and demoralizing analysis of one of the most courageous heroin of Indian film industry. This exists in spite of the fact of sheer absence of any beauty and mind in the film industry. The film industry is starved of new faces, new ideas, futuristic projects and plan for developed India.

I have been unable to understand the deep rooted slavery system, in India. Even the free journalism is not able to keep brightest journalist of this country free. The reporters remain engulfed with height of discrimination related to religion, region, languages and background. Mallika always occupy bad report from the entire journalists in the country. The reason lies somewhere in between these human compulsions to remain attached to their traditions.

Last year, I wrote a book on ‘Unlearn Before U-learn’. I have analyzed various changing trends in society due to tremendous technological and social changes. For me, changes are obvious and clear. But, I am unable to find even few of the people who are able to experience, realise and re-learn from these changing scenarios. The people are coupled to act with their old, traditional and conservative thinking. The few salient lines, I would like to reproduce from my book:

“The so-called ‘Generation Valley’ is so deep and wide that parents are becoming the biggest hurdle in today’s growth. Life has become tougher. A son or daughter, who wants to develop their family, has to be a super-manager or super-human to deal with all kinds of challenges. If one wants to bring her family up along with her, she will never be able to achieve anything in life. She perforce will have to become a lame sacrificial lamb or alternatively a rebel.

Mallika Sherawat, the famous Indian actress, rebelled from her family setup to work in movies. Her parents never agreed with her ideas. She broke relations with her parents to pursue her career in movies. When she was attending a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival for the launch of The Myth in which she had a role as an Indian princess along with the famous international superstar Jackie Chan, She roared, ‘My dad comes from a very old-world setup where everything is very traditional. The attitude is still, “girls from good families shouldn’t go into films.” Their thinking will never change. My mother still wears a gunghat (veil). I feel so lost at times.’ She is correct. Anybody will feel lost when she has to change her level all alone. She has to move all alone. She has to take her decisions in life all alone. Parents are worse than enemies in such cases because they cannot accept or understand and appreciate her tremendous efforts. You do not get either inspiration nor can you get detached easily. She immediately confirms, ‘My dad has not spoken to me for the last three years.’ There is no way out. The progress of the offsprings of this generation has to pass through a dark tunnel where there are no parents.

The existing family structure is comfortable as long as there is no change in the status of the next generation. If there is no change in the education or prosperity level in the next generation, they may be compelled to show compatibility because of the financial dependency of children. The moment the changes take place, the problem starts getting bigger. There is a requirement to think of a new family structure or setup. That was a reason why we have heard many unbelievable incidents from Western countries and developed world in the middle of twentieth century when they were developing. Today, Asian countries are moving towards development and passing through the same phases; we must analyze and learn from the experience of the developed world. The developed world has passed through those hassles and difficulties in the last centuries. The solution may lie somewhere in a known knowledge domain if we search, learn and implement. Cases like an increase in old-age homes, children divorcing their parents, the concept of a single family, more single parents in society, ladies demanding their share of power, smaller family sizes, single child syndrom and so on have to increase and we have to adjust to them. It is comfortable if we unlearn the old setup quickly and completely.”

Mallika might have revolted from her parents to work and survive alone, but the hell lot of other people who are supposed to work for the growth of a star, remain biggest obstacles for developing India. There is hardly any system for the homogeneous growth. The system most of the time work dangerously to curb even the intelligent growth of individual.

The country like India is unique in the sense at this juncture of human civilization. The people are at whatever position, comfortable with their own disgruntled, half cooked and rubbish knowledge. Hardly few people generate courage to building empire for the future of this vast country. From film industry, I categorized Mallika as Indian idol, who is surviving the odd to take this country ahead in a right direction.

In India searching talent is the job of consultants. Specialists and capitalists have their own mission. Where do they have time to find talent? Laxmi Mittal is busy in teaching his sons, Ambani has already taught all industry tricks to his sons, Laloo is busy in training Rabri and his sons, Sonia is busy with Priyanka and Rahul, Rakesh Roshan is busy in projecting Hritik, Amitabh is busy with Abhishek, Hema is projecting Isha, Mallay Chaudhary is busy with Arindam Chaudhary and so on. Who thinks about Mallika? Her parents have rejected her. She is supposed to struggle with all the resources of 21st century. Thanks to the advent of new technological scenario, individuals like Mallika can survive and grow. Pritish Nandy will love to write.

After reading the entire article, I could not judge why Pritish Nandy wrote about Mallika in the front page of Delhi Times, dated August 4, 2006. I kept on going through the pages. Lastly I could find photographs of Rahul Bose. There were many photographs of Bose along with a quote. Rahul says, ‘She is very hardworking and willing to listen to what others have to say. She also has a very good sense of humour. She comes across as a very powerful woman who has a mind of her own. She is warm and understanding and I feel she’s going to go a long way!’. Whao… What a great statement especially when you are doing movies with her and you are not as famous as heroin?

But why Pritish agreed to write this article? Did Bose influence him to write about her? Did he get influenced to write on the front page of Delhi Times? If Yes, Can this country learn little more to unlearn to be partial to talents? A talent is a tough thing to be searched, developed, harnessed, groomed and preserved. Can an independent Indian be little more impartial in their approach and work to take talents ahead without discrimination based on religion, region, languages and background? Pritish remembered certified Mallika when she was doing movie with Rahul Bose. What a great coincidence? Why are we playing with talents of country? Posted by Picasa

Challenges of Developing Youth

The children of developing world are struggling. Some succeed while others succumb. Many die in the course of struggle. Few dies because of malnutrition, accidents, suicide, natural disasters and bomb blasts, and rest struggle to survive. Many students succumb to societal pressure to opt for trivial jobs. Few join mafia net. Many studious and hard working individuals commit suicide. Approximately 4000 students commit suicide annually. This amounts to 148 per 1, 00,000 in developing world compared to 2.1 in UK. Everyday news papers are full of these incidences. People are forced to read these fearful events. The overall wisdom lacks severely in the society to handle such situations. This becomes serious because most of these people have less access to genuine information. They are engulfed with poverty and deprivation. Normal people remain clueless about these complexities.
National administrative systems and HRD ministry are busy in their trivial ideas and missions. Mostly, they too remain clueless because of detached approach. They remain ignorant because of their forced distances from wisdom sources. They do not like to give weightage to knowledge sources. As such, they have nothing to loose till the time they have to work for one individual. Nation suffers. Farmers commit suicide. Families die in bulk. The crumbling infrastructure halts life. Students feel orphan. Parents remain confused. System is unable to provide wisdom and guidance. Confusions prevail. I owe these confusions to our inability in general to unlearn things. This occurs at individual, society and national level. Shall we stop judging new situations in old backgrounds?
In the midst of all these confusions, leadership is moving ahead and convincing people to take hard decisions. Leaders are telling people to move ahead. They are preaching people to dream big. They are compelling people to drive hard. They are guiding people towards impossibilities. Instead of working themselves and taking hard decisions for the betterment of children, they are telling citizen to work hard. I termed these situations as they are misguiding people towards chaos. These generate contradictions in the mind of youth. This generates frustrations among farmers, workers and families. The contradictions are created in the mind. Wrong aspirations are developed. I call them fatal aspirations.
In due course of time, a family and its members rear so many contradictions in their existence that they make their own life miserable. I would like to explain the prevailing confusions through a simple narrative. This is the true story of a high rising individual in this country. Once I met a person in a train journey. He narrated his life some thing like this -

“I am working in Delhi Police. I am staying in one of the posh area of Delhi. I have four children. The eldest daughter stays in village and studies in school in Otava near Agra so that she can learn the old culture of our society for which we Indians are very proud. I have put my one son and one daughter in DPS RK Puram. They are learning all the latest developments of society. They are learning things very fast. They speak in English. They are studying in English. It is a different story that we never speak English at home. My wife joins sometime at my Delhi residence. She continues staying at village to look after farming with another youngest son of three years of age. I have my two brothers and four sisters staying in the village. They are staying in the joint family except my eldest brother who stays separately in the same village. He and his wife are teachers and they have two children. They are studying in the same school where my brother and sister-in-law are teaching. I am the only advanced and most literate one who could get a service outside the village and working in Delhi. I am staying outside and seeing the advanced world but, you see sir, I have not forgotten the village and my ancient culture. I am so proud of my traditions. I still remember when my father refused to allow me to marry a daughter of my senior with whom I fell in love. We saw few movies together. I took her few times to famous Lodi Garden to understand each other in a better way. Sir, Lodi Garden is really a nice place to take your not so knowledgeable girlfriend to learn few basics of a loving life. There are many live examples there to show to your girlfriend. But after all these, finally I married as per my father’s wishes with a girl of nearby village. My wife is not very literate. She has passed her sixth class from her village school. When she got involved with a boy of tenth class, her father refused to send her to school so that she should not learn bad things of society. Over and above, it is so difficult to get our prestige intact if our daughter gets involved in some love affairs. My father-in-law that way was very strict and discipline. My wife is very hard working and sincere. She takes care of my entire house. She gets up at 4 o’clock and sleeps at 12 o’clock in the night after everybody sleeps. She never complaints to me for anything.
I am very proud of my achievements. In life, you have to sacrifice a bit to get some prestige. I am very sure that I shall always try to teach all these ‘cultural richness’ of my ancestors to my children. Once in a year, I bring my son and daughter studying in DPS, R K Puram, to village for two months during their summer vacation. I leave them in the village with their mother so that they can learn the basics of the ‘sound culture’ of our village. They do not get chance to speak in English in the village but I am hopeful that the sound culture which they learn during vacations will be useful in the long run compare to those who send their children to “Your’s Kid Our Kids” for summer camp and learn salsa, painting, acting, modeling, horse riding or instrumental music etc.
I want to educate my children with the best of education available so that they can become good officers in some Government department and earn a lot of money and prestige. Officers in Government department get lots of prestige and money too from all the public. At the same time, I want to maintain the village set up so that after retirement I or even my children could get settled there and live a good life in old age. I know there are lots of problems in the village like poor electricity, no medical facilities, no good school or college, no road, no communication and so on but at least I am very proud of my village. My grandfathers have taught me that I should not sell or dispose off my ancestor property. I shall not do it at least during my time. I am not sure of my children especially who are studying in DPS. Sometime, their talks give shivers to me.”

During the whole journey, my mind kept on delving on voluminous contradictions in the life of a common man. How an educated person can marry an uneducated wife? How the wife of a middle class urban society would be forced to live a miserable life in village between 4 o’clock in the morning to 12 o’clock in the night? How the people have been taught about the ‘cultural richness’ or ‘sound culture’? Is living in scarcity, indicates a sound culture? How the message of good living and sound culture should be spread in such a vast and contradictory population of south Asian in general and Indian in particular? You force your children to study English and modernity in one hand and on the other hand you ensure, they learn poverty, deprivation, scarcity and misery. What do we want from a child of nine? Is it not a criminal offence to force your nine-year old son or daughter in such a ‘contradictory microwave oven’? Do children of developing world have much choice?
It is ironic that most of the poor children are still being taught in regional language. There are no good writings available in any regional languages. But Government is unable to take any hard decision. Students study in regional languages and subsequently if get opportunities to go for higher education, they have to switch over to English by force. Some are able to adjust while few go for suicide. Other becomes Naxals or terrorists. It is criminal in the part of democratic leadership. Poor are unable to understand the actual need. Children as well as parents are puzzled. We have to avoid these existing anomalies in life. It remains a challenge.
Finance Minister P Chidambaram at the function on 25th year’s celebration of only MNC of India M/S Infosys at Mysore says, ‘India is not poor country. India has poor people.’ I say that India has poor leaders. These leaders speak during functions to tell individual to be strong. Why can not they become strong? Why not they take hard decisions to take this moving country ahead? Why they succumb to pity pressure to keep their chair? The similar thing was told by Prime Minister during an award ceremony in Delhi. We have taken fifteen long years to reach to this level after globalization. Are we going to take another fifteen years to have basic infrastructure? These are challenges. They contradict our existence. Children become frustrated. They are unable to digest this apathy.
The country is proud of educated youth. The country is prospering because of English speaking people. The better future is reserved for the people who are educated in English. Why should we waste our time in reservation for higher studies when basic education is not available? The education system needs to be revolutionized. The bad leadership is forcing children to commit suicide.
Every individual has to understand these anomalies in the system of developing society. The future of the nation depends on its youth. They are being readied today. They must concentrate on big issues. Their parents, teachers and well wishers must focus on real issues. They have to learn to unlearn. They have to ignore contradictions. They have to avoid fatal aspirations. Posted by Picasa
